Events

Coalition Members continue to host meetings and events on a variety of topics to support small businesses through the pandemic. Please see below for a list of upcoming events.

Community Business Network

Co-Sponsored by Mass Association of CDCs

The Community Business Network is a monthly convening of business support organizations and leaders to share information, discuss strategic issues and build the strength and connectivity of the small business ecosystem.  The CBN is a primary way for CEE partners to stay informed about programs, policies and strategies related to supporting small businesses in Massachusetts, and related CEE initiatives.

CBN meetings include high level program and policy updates, guest speakers, breakout groups and member spotlights, to keep small business leaders informed and build connections and collaboration throughout the small business ecosystem.

CBN also provides a forum to mobilize the broader CEE network to advocate for progressive policies and programs, primarily at the state level but also at the Federal or Local level as needed. By joining CBN, practitioners can be part of a broader movement for economic justice and closing racial inequities.

The Situation Room provides a forum for consistent communication and shared leadership among small business consultants, advisors and technical assistance providers, and serves as a working group of experts that advise and coordinate with the Community Business Network and the full Business Support Committee of the CEE.

The Situation Room offers practitioners the opportunity to dig into the details of various programs so we can ensure full and equitable access to resources for underserved small businesses.
