CAPITAL ACCESS

The Capital Access Committee seeks to examine and dismantle structural and institutional barriers that continue to prevent businesses owned and led by Black, Latinx, immigrant and low income entrepreneurs from accessing the capital they need to be successful. The Committee will contribute to closing the capital gap by providing the platform and assistance for active collaboration among an expanding group of concerned and intentional capital providers.

BUSINESS SUPPORT

The Business SupportCommittee believes businesses grow stronger when they have access to business advice and mentoring. The Committee seeks to increase access to culturally competent and best-in-class business support services especially for Black, Latinx, immigrants and low income entrepreneurs. Our goal is to close the opportunity gap and assist community members in reaching economic prosperity.

POLICY AND RESEARCH

The Policy Committee seeks to put equity at the core of the state’s policy strategy that prioritizes capital and resources to Black, Latinx, immigrants and low income entrepreneurs in order to create thriving communities across the Commonwealth. The Committee will achieve this by advocating for the dismantling of policy, programs, and practices that have created systemic barriers for communities of color, and by unifying organizations with a shared mission to advance our collective agenda.
